Digital Art Director - Remote Opportunity at IONOS

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Digital Art Director to join our team at IONOS. This remote Digital Art Director position offers a unique opportunity to shape the digital experience of our IONOS shop, collaborating with various teams in a dynamic environment. You will be instrumental in creating visually appealing and user-centered designs that drive conversion and enhance user engagement.

What You'll Do

• Design new landing pages, shop funnels, and digital touchpoints with a strong focus on brand and design.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for product areas of our online shop, collaborating with cross-functional experts.
• Work closely with product owners, development, and data teams to continuously improve the visual quality and usability of our digital platforms.
• Develop and optimize UX concepts, visuals, interactions, and motion designs for our international shop areas.
• Align visual creativity with user perspectives and conversion goals, ensuring a modern and performance-driven appearance.
• Support the development of our group-wide design system and contribute new ideas and innovative concepts.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration, testing new ideas and approaches to enhance our digital offerings.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in Digital Art Direction, Visual Design, and UI/UX Design.
• Strong sense of layout, visual hierarchy, typography, animation, composition, and digital aesthetics.
• Proficiency in design and motion tools such as Figma or similar programs.
• Interest and experience in utilizing AI tools in the design or content process.
• Self-directed, structured work style with a high standard of quality and execution.
• Enjoyment of cross-functional collaboration and an open mindset.
• Experience in creatively managing projects and teams, translating complex requirements into clear, consistent visual concepts.

Nice to Have

• Experience with e-commerce platforms and online marketing tools.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in interdisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of current design trends and technologies.
