About the Role

We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our growing team at Action ICT. This remote DevOps Engineer position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of innovative cloud solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructures hosted on public cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Utilize orchestration technologies like Kubernetes for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Develop and maintain automation processes dedicated to provisioning and configuration management of cloud infrastructures using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to automate the creation of new cloud infrastructures and streamline software verification and deployment processes (CI/CD).
  • Engage in capacity planning, business continuity, disaster recovery, and monitoring in public and private cloud contexts.
  • Work within an agile team, managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively to work autonomously in a remote setting.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux platforms and infrastructure management.
  • Experience with cloud architectural paradigms and deployment models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, AWS CloudFormation).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in technical English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with additional cloud service providers (IBM, etc.).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
