Designer I - Entry-Level Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Designer I remote to join our team at TEECOM. This entry-level position is focused on developing your skills in Revit modeling, coordination, and documentation while learning TEECOM’s workflows and standards. You will work closely with an engineering mentor and contribute to project delivery, enhancing your understanding of Telecom/ICT and other technology disciplines.

What You'll Do

• Prepare Revit models and update drawings under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Assist with reports, calculations, and coordination activities to ensure projects are aligned and progressing.
• Participate in structured training journeys and shadow senior consultants to build your discipline knowledge.
• Support project teams by maintaining organized models, documentation, and markups that reflect accurate design intent.
• Engage in project meetings and discussions to strengthen your coordination and technical understanding.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of experience in the AEC industry or related fields.
• Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, or other drafting/modeling tools is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to learn new software and follow workflows effectively.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to BIM coordination concepts and familiarity with Navisworks and BIM 360.
• Foundational understanding of technology systems such as Telecom/ICT, Audiovisual, and Security.
• Industry certifications like EIT or CDT are a plus.
