Design Student Intern - High School (Remote Opportunity)
About the Role

As a Design Student Intern, you will work under the supervision of a Licensed Architect and project leadership, providing you with a chance to be a part of our multi-disciplinary team.
What You'll Do
- Participate in and observe the design process, gaining insights into real-world projects.
- Assist in the review of construction phase documentation, learning about the critical aspects of project development.
- Attend project, team, and office meetings to understand the collaborative nature of design work.
- Explore various software platforms such as Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, Sketch-up, and Grasshopper.
- Help with building physical models, enhancing your practical skills in design.
- Conduct product research to support project development and innovation.
- Attend in-house project team meetings to contribute ideas and learn from experienced professionals.
- Perform other duties as required, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the design process.
Requirements
- Must be a recent high school graduate with a strong interest in pursuing a degree in the AEC industry.
- Strong communication, teamwork, presentation, and organizational skills are preferred.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of design software is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Nice to Have
- Experience with design software such as Revit or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Previous internship or volunteer experience in a related field.
