About the Role

We're excited to announce a remote opportunity for a Design Coordinator at Spanx. As a Design Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the creative process, collaborating with the design team to bring innovative apparel concepts to life. This position is perfect for someone with a passion for fashion and a strong foundation in design principles.

What You'll Do

• Sketch and design relevant concepts under leadership supervision, ensuring alignment with brand trends.
• Collaborate with the design team to build creative materials and support the overall vision for the season.
• Conduct market and trend research to inform design decisions.
• Participate in concept and design presentations, showcasing your ideas effectively.
• Document design work in progress across all systems and tools, maintaining clear communication.
• Support the prototyping and fitting process, ensuring designs meet quality standards.
• Assist in material development, including color and fabric selection.
• Coordinate tasks related to garment design and development, taking direct responsibility for specific projects.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in apparel design and development.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and XD.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Product Development or Design.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration and documentation.

• Knowledge of current fashion trends and market dynamics.
• Previous experience in a remote work environment.
