Dell Datacenter Technician - Relocation Support

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Dell Datacenter Technician to join our team in Puyallup, WA. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on-site with Dell products, providing essential support and maintenance. As a Dell Datacenter Technician remote, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining server hardware, ensuring optimal performance for our clients.

What You'll Do

• Provide troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance for Dell products located at customer sites.
• Execute plans of action from Dell Domain Engineer/L3 and document results, logs, and service reports.
• Manage parts locker and spare parts during server deployments.
• Perform server testing and validation, including running diagnostics and capturing logs.
• Upgrade firmware as needed and manage inbound and outbound parts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 4-6 years of experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience in server hardware.
• Familiarity with Linux and experience with server swaps and deployments.
• Ability to provide real-time, detailed documentation and demonstrate good documentation habits.
• Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job.

Nice to Have

• Experience with water cooling servers.
• Previous experience building PCs.
