Debtors Intern - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Debtors Intern to join our team at C-Care International. As a Debtors Intern, you will support our Finance Department and learn about credit control, invoicing, and financial administration processes within a structured corporate environment.
What You'll Do
- Assist in preparing and issuing invoices to clients.
- Update debtor records accurately in the accounting system.
- Support allocation of payments received.
- Assist in following up on outstanding balances via email or telephone.
- Maintain proper records of client communications regarding payments.
- Escalate unresolved or overdue accounts to the Supervisor when required.
- Support debtor account reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing debtor ageing reports.
- Identify discrepancies and report findings for review.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
- Ensure documentation complies with company policies and audit requirements.
- Handle financial information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Requirements
- Minimum HSC Level.
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn.
- Professional attitude and good communication skills.
