Debtors Intern - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Debtors Intern to join our team at C-Care International. This role is perfect for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the finance sector while working remotely. As a Debtors Intern, you will support our Finance Department and learn about credit control, invoicing, and financial administration processes within a structured corporate environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist in preparing and issuing invoices to clients.
• Update debtor records accurately in the accounting system.
• Support allocation of payments received.
• Assist in following up on outstanding balances via email or telephone.
• Maintain proper records of client communications regarding payments.
• Escalate unresolved or overdue accounts to the Supervisor when required.
• Support debtor account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing debtor ageing reports.
• Identify discrepancies and report findings for review.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
• Ensure documentation complies with company policies and audit requirements.
• Handle financial information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements

• Minimum HSC Level.
• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn.
• Professional attitude and good communication skills.
