About the Role

We are seeking a talented Data Visualization Developer to join our team remotely. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a two-year project with a global consulting firm. As a Data Visualization Developer remote, you will play a crucial role in supporting the IT repository line of business by assisting in reporting and analytics needs.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI.
  • Develop efficient SQL queries and data models in Snowflake for analytics and visualization.
  • Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into analytical insights and visuals.
  • Support data engineering teams to ensure smooth data integration and pipeline readiness.
  • Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and adherence to visualization best practices.

Requirements

  • Overall 5+ years of experience in data visualization, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in both Tableau and Power BI, with advanced skills in dashboard design, calculated fields, and performance tuning.
  • Extensive experience with DAX, Power Query (M), data modeling, and row-level security in Power BI.
  • Strong SQL skills, preferably with Snowflake, including query optimization and data transformation techniques.
  • Understanding of data modeling and ETL processes, including star/snowflake schemas and incremental refresh logic.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data trends, KPIs, and business metrics.
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Git and Jira for versioning and delivery tracking.
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism.
