Data Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

Arbeit Group is hiring a Data Engineer to join our innovative team. This is a remote position that allows you to work from anywhere while contributing to our data architecture for a used car sales platform. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and managing data systems that drive our business decisions.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain a robust and efficient data architecture for our used car sales website platform.
• Develop and implement database schemas, ensuring data integrity and quality for accurate analysis and decision-making.
• Build and manage data workflows (pipelines) to efficiently move data from source to destination for quick access.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and development teams to understand data needs and provide actionable solutions.
• Plan budgets and monitor expenditures periodically to ensure project alignment with financial goals.
• Develop KPIs for team members and conduct regular coaching and counseling to improve performance.
• Monitor team output and provide guidance according to responsibilities in each area.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Information Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience designing, developing, and managing data architecture.
• Competence in data modeling, ETL processes, and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL).
• Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python.
• Strong understanding of data governance and data security principles.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to work onsite in Cilandak, South Jakarta, if required.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
