About the Role

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. This Data Engineer role offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to the design and development of our Data Warehouse (DWH) and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines. You will play a crucial role in translating business needs into technical solutions and ensuring data quality across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop the Data Warehouse (DWH) to create a solid foundation for analytics.
• Build data pipelines: Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT processes.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and propose optimal architectural solutions.
• Help colleagues visualize data through the development of clear and efficient dashboards.
• Implement Data Quality practices to ensure trust in data throughout the company.

Requirements

• Strong SQL skills: Ability to write complex queries, optimize them, and understand their execution.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes: Familiarity with data integration tools and pipeline construction principles.
• Practice with dbt: Experience in data modeling and writing transformations in dbt is a significant advantage.
• Engineering mindset: Commitment to code quality, use of Git, and understanding the importance of Data Quality.
• Systematic thinking: Ability to organize data to build informative reports and dashboards.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Knowledge of BI tools such as Looker.
