Data Engineer Intern - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Data Engineer Intern - Remote to join our data team. This role offers hands-on experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and modern data warehouse technologies. As a Data Engineer Intern - Remote, you will assist in designing, building, and maintaining ETL pipelines. You will work with APIs to integrate data from external systems and support data modeling and schema design in Snowflake and relational databases.

What You'll Do

• Write SQL queries for analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with data analysts and engineers to enhance data solutions.
• Help monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues.
• Document data processes and workflows for clarity and efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices are followed.
• Learn best practices for data engineering and contribute to team projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in computer science or a related field.
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python preferred).
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
