About the Role

We are seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to join our innovative team at Column, where you will play a pivotal role in transforming banking solutions. This Data Analytics Engineer remote position allows you to leverage your expertise in data to help us build foundational data products and tools that will enable self-serve analytics across the company.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain core datasets, ensuring data quality and compliance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Design, to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Own data models and warehouse architecture across core banking systems.

Requirements

  • 4-10 years of experience in a data-focused role, such as analytics engineer or data scientist.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
  • Strong product intuition and a bias for building pragmatic solutions.
  • Familiarity with data governance and privacy in regulated environments.
  • Experience with banking or financial systems is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in regulatory/compliance reporting.
  • Financial modeling experience.
