Customer Data Solution Architect - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Customer Data Solution Architect to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will design secure, scalable, and high-performing customer data solutions for the retail sector. You will ensure trusted and consistent data across all channels, driving initiatives for identity resolution and master data management.

What You'll Do

• Build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across customer-focused initiatives, ensuring alignment and shared understanding of data strategies.
• Provide thought leadership on customer data architecture, shaping solutions that deliver consistent, trusted customer data across all channels.
• Design, maintain, and review artefacts for customer data solutions, enabling engineering teams to build effectively or integrate acquired solutions.
• Review customer data solutions for compliance with design principles and functional/non-functional requirements, recommending changes where necessary.
• Stay ahead of industry trends in customer data technologies and retail data strategies, applying insights to improve personalization and analytics capabilities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Customer Data Solution Architect or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of modern data platforms, including data lakes and lakehouses.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present solution proposals to senior stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and strategic mindset, capable of creating design artefacts.
• Ability to engage cross-functional teams effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data integration strategies and analytics.
• Knowledge of compliance regulations related to customer data.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and data security best practices.
