Crypto Funding Support Specialist - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Crypto Funding Support Specialist - Remote to join our team at Kraken. As a fully remote company, we have Krakenites in over 70 countries, and we are committed to providing exceptional customer service in the cryptocurrency space. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our clients have a seamless experience with cryptocurrency transactions and related services.

What You'll Do

• Answer clients’ inquiries regarding cryptocurrency transactions, staking, and various other crypto-related products through text and live support channels.
• Provide testing and feedback for new features before they are released to clients.
• Assist in managing our Consumer/Trading/Kraken Desktop support team, including quality assurance for other specialists.
• Monitor technical issues and collaborate with funding engineers to ensure client transactions are processed quickly.
• Meet Service Level Agreements (SLA) and utilize Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to measure success.
• Strive to improve team efficiency by creating or enhancing processes and automating tasks where possible.
• Potentially monitor crypto funding activity for fraudulent actions.

Requirements

• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience using the Kraken Pro platform.
• Understanding of trading, charting, and leveraged trading (Future/Margin or preferably both).
• Client support experience with good math skills.
• A fast learner who can adapt to changes in products and processes.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Nice to Have

• Experience with other platforms like Coinbase, Binance, OKEX, Bitmex, Bybit, Deribit, etc.
• Familiarity with Google Sheets and Google Script.
• Experience with APIs and security-focused practices.
• Technical understanding of major cryptocurrencies.
• Proficiency in French, German, and/or Spanish in addition to English.
