About the Role

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Conservative Writer Intern - Remote at Our National Conversation (ONC). As a Conservative Writer Intern, you will engage with a diverse team and create impactful political content that resonates with our audience.

What You'll Do

• Write high-quality political content, including OpEds and policy proposals.
• Participate in podcasts and social media activities to promote our mission.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of writers to brainstorm and propose story ideas.
• Engage in civil dialogue on various political topics during team discussions.
• Attend weekly team meetings on Fridays via Zoom.
• Work remotely using tools like Zoom and Slack to communicate effectively.
• Submit a writing sample with your application to showcase your writing skills.
• Maintain a flexible schedule while committing to at least one semester of internship.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Political Science, Journalism, or a related field.
• Exceptional writing skills in English are a must.
• Good verbal communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in policy research or political commentary is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace is preferred.
• Must be authorized to intern in the U.S.
• Enthusiasm for ONC’s mission and values is essential.
