TPAPT is seeking an experienced College Essay Coach - Remote to guide high school students in creating and refining their college application essays. As a College Essay Coach, you'll work via Zoom or Google Meet with students in grades 9 - 12, helping them navigate the complexities of college essay writing. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on students' futures while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.
What You'll Do
- Create and implement a roadmap for college essays, ensuring students understand the requirements and expectations.
- Assist students with brainstorming and essay development, helping them articulate their thoughts and experiences effectively.
- Provide guidance on supplemental essays, ensuring students present their best selves to colleges.
- Proofread and copy edit essays as needed, enhancing clarity and coherence.
- Consult with parents to update them on student progress and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with a dedicated and enjoyable team, sharing insights and strategies to improve student outcomes.
- Engage with great kids and supportive families, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
Requirements
- Experience in college essay writing and coaching, with a proven track record of helping students succeed.
- Strong proofreading and editing skills, ensuring high-quality essays.
