About the Role

We are excited to announce an opening for a Collections Specialist - Remote at Tide. In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping our members manage their financial challenges effectively. As a Collections Specialist, you will be instrumental in providing essential support to our members, ensuring they have the tools and guidance needed to navigate their financial obligations.

What You'll Do

• Provide essential support to our members, helping them manage arrears in line with the Collections Policies.
• Develop successful repayment plans tailored to the needs of our members.
• Update corresponding logs and reports diligently, documenting actions and decisions.
• Engage with customers effectively, addressing a range of queries and requests with empathy and professionalism.
• Utilize strong negotiation and reasoning skills to assist members in finding long-term solutions.

Requirements

• Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
• Ability to empathize with customers and understand their unique challenges.
• Previous experience in retail or customer service roles.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Desire to succeed and contribute positively to the team.

Nice to Have

• Experience in collections or financial services.
• Familiarity with CRM systems.
