CNC Programmer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented CNC Programmer - Remote to join our innovative team at Fiber Pad. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that our customers' visions and products are delivered to exact specifications. You will be responsible for interpreting complex technical information, including 3D models, drawings, and other engineering documents to model tooling. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with our production team to ensure accuracy and quality in our manufacturing processes.

What You'll Do

• Create 3D models of vacuum forming and trim fixture tooling.
• Develop 2D prints and 3rd angle projections for tooling and part drawings.
• Validate tools per the 3D model after fabrication.
• Participate in customer design reviews and new project onboarding.
• Support engineering and production groups with technical data and model analysis.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working around materials and equipment.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of modeling/design experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks CAD software.
• Ability to create technical documents such as Standard Operating Procedures.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and dependability regarding attendance.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• High level of professionalism when interacting with customers and leadership.

Nice to Have

• Experience with thermoforming mold design and trim fixtures.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes for thermoforming and CNC machining.
