Cleaning & Facilities Delivery Lead - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
Yarra Trams is seeking a Cleaning & Facilities Delivery Lead to oversee the management and monitoring of our vital cleaning contract. This role is essential in ensuring a consistently high standard of cleanliness for passengers traveling on the Yarra Trams network. As a Cleaning & Facilities Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that the cleaning contract is delivered in the required quality, quantity, and frequency across all areas of the contract.
What You'll Do
- Ensure the cleaning contract KPIs are consistently met and manage performance issues effectively.
- Coordinate cleaning activities across various departments, particularly Rolling Stock, Lines, and Infrastructure.
- Work collaboratively with the Passenger Insights team to ensure compliance with the Passenger Experience Regime (PXR) regarding cleanliness.
- Support the Team Manager, Facilities & Cleaning Services in identifying and recording maintenance activities required by the service provider.
- Build and sustain relationships with contractors and stakeholders to resolve conflicts and negotiate effectively.
Requirements
- Experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance within the transport or similar industry.
- Ability to identify safety risks and implement effective controls.
- Proven experience in managing complex contracts and programs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage performance-driven programs.
- Understanding of customer experience principles and their relation to business objectives.

- Experience in a leadership role within facilities management.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in the transport sector.
- Skills in data analysis and reporting based on passenger feedback.
