About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Class A Tanker Driver to join our team at Ecology Auto Parts. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while supporting a 6-month water hauling project in Gardnerville, Nevada. As a Class A Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting water from designated fill locations to job sites, ensuring compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety standards. This position requires a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker endorsement, making it essential for candidates to have strong operational discipline and the ability to work extended hours during active projects.

What You'll Do

  • Safely operate Class A tanker trucks transporting water between J-Stand fill stations and job sites.
  • Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor and tanker equipment.
  • Monitor load integrity and ensure safe operation of tanker valves and pumping equipment.
  • Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and trip documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, project supervisors, and job site personnel.
  • Follow designated hauling routes and schedules to support project operations.
  • Maintain awareness of site safety requirements and environmental compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker Endorsement REQUIRED.
  • Minimum 1 year of Class A driving experience preferred.
  • Experience hauling liquids, water, or similar materials preferred.
  • Strong understanding of DOT regulations and driver compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work long shifts (up to 11 hours per day) during active project schedules.
  • Reliable work ethic and strong commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with operations personnel.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with tanker equipment and valves.
  • Knowledge of environmental compliance standards.
  • Previous experience in construction or industrial environments.
