About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated CDI Quality Reviewer - Remote to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and accuracy of clinical documentation. As a CDI Quality Reviewer, you will work remotely, collaborating with healthcare professionals to maintain high standards in clinical documentation and coding.

What You'll Do

  • Review clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance with healthcare quality standards.
  • Collaborate with coding teams to ensure proper coding practices and adherence to ICD-10 guidelines.
  • Conduct audits and provide feedback to improve documentation practices.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance team knowledge on clinical documentation improvement.
  • Utilize automation tools and content management systems to streamline quality review processes.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or quality review.
  • Active RN license or relevant certifications (CDIP, CCDS, CCS).
  • Strong understanding of DRG, EHR, and medical records.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with OASIS-E and forensic underwriting.
  • Familiarity with compliance reporting and auditing processes.
  • Knowledge of healthcare quality standards and VA disability claims.
