About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Call Center Specialist to join our team at Greater Oregon Behavioral Health. This is a full-time remote position where you will play a crucial role in supporting our Medical Brokerage Call Center. As a Call Center Specialist, you will be responsible for answering phones, responding to member inquiries, and performing essential data entry tasks. What You'll Do

  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide excellent customer service to members.
  • Perform data entry for ride and billing information accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain records and process mail related to member services.
  • Conduct interviews with clients to assess eligibility for ride requests.
  • Document service delivery issues and follow up as necessary.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Suites to manage tasks and communications.
  • Handle confidential information with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Multi-task effectively in time-sensitive situations to meet member needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a call center or medical office setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong and reliable internet connection for remote work.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Familiarity with healthcare terminology and processes.
  • Previous experience in a remote work environment.
