About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Lead to join our team at Zespri. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our kiwifruit marketing initiatives across Europe. What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the Head of Strategy & Market Development and the EU Leadership Team to prioritize and govern the annual portfolio of strategic initiatives.
- Lead the execution of EU strategic projects, translating strategy into tangible outcomes through cross-functional collaboration.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to the EU Leadership Team for informed decision-making.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between business functions, managing internal communications and preparing presentations.
- Support business intelligence and planning efforts by providing analysis, research, and recommendations.
Requirements
- 5-10+ years of experience in a commercial environment, preferably in Strategy, Sales, or Commercial Finance.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects across European markets.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, or Supply Chain Management.
- Strong technical competencies in sales and marketing with a good understanding of Supply Chain dynamics.
- Exceptional commercial acumen and understanding of market dynamics and value creation.
