Business Data Analyst - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Business Data Analyst - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your analytical skills to drive business insights and support data-driven decision-making processes. As a Business Data Analyst, you will work closely with various departments, including operations and customer support, to enhance our analytics capabilities and improve overall business performance.

What You'll Do

• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic business decisions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Looker, Power BI, and Domo.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable data models.
• Utilize SQL and other data manipulation tools to extract, clean, and analyze data from various sources.
• Support the development of data visualization strategies to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support business initiatives and operational improvements.
• Participate in the design and implementation of data governance practices to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Domo.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Experience in healthcare analytics or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with data modeling, business analysis, and reporting best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with tools like Snowflake, DBT, and Retool is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
