About the Role

We're Tovala, a food-tech company reinventing home cooking to save consumers time. We are seeking a Brand Designer to join our innovative team. This Brand Designer remote role is perfect for those who have a passion for visual design and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in elevating our brand across multiple touchpoints.

What You'll Do

• Create on-brand, engaging visual experiences across print and digital channels.
• Leverage conceptual thinking and visual storytelling to solve complex business problems.
• Execute design projects from concept to delivery, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
• Present your work to internal stakeholders, using strong verbal communication skills to convey your ideas compellingly.
• Collaborate with copywriters to create on-brand messaging for all digital assets.
• Oversee our menu photography, working directly with our photographer and food stylist.
• Foster curiosity and bring new ideas to the table that contribute to the company at large.
• Work independently and collaboratively, prioritizing tasks effectively.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in design; agency and/or in-house experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design or equivalent.
• Excellent online portfolio showcasing a range of work across brand and marketing channels.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Figma is preferred.
• Strong graphic design skills with attention to detail in typography, composition, and layout.
• Ability to think about the bigger picture while executing high-quality creative deliverables.
• Excellent organization and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience assisting art direction of photoshoots.
• Familiarity with digital project management software (Asana / Basecamp).
