Blockchain DevOps Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Blockchain DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at Crypto.com. This Blockchain DevOps Engineer remote position offers you the chance to work on cutting-edge blockchain technology while maintaining and supporting our blockchain infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of public blockchain technology and contribute significantly to our projects.

What You'll Do

• Maintain and support blockchain infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Review and propose configurations for blockchain software and network setups of nodes running the blockchain software.
• Develop and share knowledge on security threats associated with various blockchain technologies.
• Define and maintain the team's continuous DevOps lifecycle and automation processes.
• Design and manage cloud computing workloads while overseeing cloud security posture.
• Collaborate with software engineers and system administrators interested in blockchain, automation, and infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or a related field; candidates with less experience may be considered for a Junior position.
• Basic understanding of blockchain technology; experience in deploying blockchain is a plus.
• Experience deploying on various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficient in developing and deploying infrastructure as code using tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and Ansible.
• Experience in maintaining container infrastructures (Kubernetes, docker-compose).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus) and logging tools (Fluentd, ElasticSearch, Kibana).
• Strong knowledge of traditional security operations, including Linux, networking, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
• Able to troubleshoot and debug issues with a methodical approach to root cause analysis.
• A team player who is eager to learn from both successes and failures, remaining open to change and continuous improvement.
• Enthusiastic about the future of blockchain and comfortable with ambiguity.
