About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Biostatistics Summer Intern to join our team remotely. In this role, you will engage in statistics methodology research to support drug development, working under the mentorship of experienced biostatisticians. What You'll Do

  • Participate in research for drug development.
  • Conduct literature reviews to inform statistical methodologies.

  • Create SAS macros and R packages for data analysis.
  • Perform computer simulations to validate statistical models.
  • Utilize your strong background in survival data modeling.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program in Statistics or Biostatistics.
  • Completed at least two semesters of graduate work.
  • Ph.D. candidates are preferred for this Biostatistics Summer Intern position.
  • Experience with R and/or SAS is essential.
  • Knowledge of causal inference and meta-analysis is preferred.
  • Familiarity with JAGS, Stan, or BUGS is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to Have

  • Preferred knowledge in Bayesian statistics.
  • Experience with R Shiny development is a plus.
  • Demonstrated initiative and commitment to continuous learning.
