Bilingual Director of Human Resources - Food Manufacturing
About the Role
We are seeking a Bilingual Director of Human Resources to join Kinsa Group, a leader in the food manufacturing sector. As the Bilingual Director of Human Resources, you will be pivotal in shaping the HR landscape of our operations, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Develop and administer HR goals, plans, processes, and procedures to align with organizational objectives.
- Lead and support the HR team, ensuring consistent application of policies and fostering a positive employee relations environment.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management on employee matters, providing coaching and consulting to leaders and employees.
- Champion employee relations and company culture, identifying areas for improvement and driving initiatives to enhance the workplace.
- Manage the performance management process and coach leaders on setting expectations and addressing performance issues.
- Oversee benefit programs and assist employees in understanding and utilizing their benefits effectively.
- Support plant safety and risk management efforts, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Collaborate with management, finance, and operations to drive plant success and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of broad HR experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong communication skills.
- Proficient in HR practices, policies, and regulations, including benefits, FMLA, COBRA, and ADA.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry is highly preferred.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certifications are strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and other productivity software such as ERP, ATS, and CRM systems.
- Must be a hands-on leader who is willing to engage with production workers on the floor.

- Knowledge of labor relations and collective bargaining agreements.
