BI Analyst - Remote Opportunity in Global Rare Diseases

We are seeking a talented BI Analyst remote to join our team at Chiesi Group, an international research-focused biopharmaceutical company. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in BI development to provide insightful dashboards and enhance our data-driven decision-making culture.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports to support commercial, marketing, and cross-functional teams, ensuring user-friendly and actionable insights.
  • Design and optimize SQL queries, data models, and ETL workflows to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality data delivery.
  • Monitor data quality, proactively identifying anomalies and maintaining clear documentation of data sources, logic, and processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and ensure alignment with KPIs and strategic priorities.
  • Communicate insights effectively through presentations and visualizations geared toward both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Partner with Data Science and marketing teams to develop forecasting models for brands to ensure predictive analytics are available for brand planning and sales forecasts.

Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in a quantitative or scientific field, such as computer science, engineering, math, physics, statistics, or biology.
  • 2+ years of experience in a commercial function as an analyst, BI developer, dashboard designer, or similar roles.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of KPIs, metrics, and how data supports strategic decision-making.
  • Proficiency in coding languages such as R or Python, and SQL with the ability to write complex queries and manipulate large datasets.
  • Expertise in BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik, and familiarity with ETL development tools such as SSIS, Talend, or Informatica.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional team-based environment.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and deliver results in tight timelines with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
