About the Role

We are seeking a talented Backend Software Engineer to join our team remotely. As a Backend Software Engineer remote, you will work autonomously while collaborating effectively with technical teams to deliver scalable, cloud-ready solutions.

What You'll Do

• Execute software development tasks, delivering high-quality components within established timelines and following technical specifications and secure coding standards.
• Design cloud-based solutions and implement REST APIs to support cloud deployments.
• Participate in code reviews and guide team members on technical questions to ensure best development practices.
• Conduct unit testing, maintain documentation, and comply with information security and risk-management procedures.
• Apply solid software engineering principles to support cloud implementations and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

• Technical degree in technology-related fields or relevant experience; desirable certifications in Clean Code, version control, databases, or cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of programming paradigms, relational and non-relational databases, and cloud services.
• Experience in REST API design and software architecture patterns such as event-driven, serverless, and microservices.
• Familiarity with design patterns, DDD, Clean Architecture, TDD, and SOLID principles.
• Proficiency in concurrency management and basic DevOps practices.
• English proficiency around 60% in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Experience in software development and architecture design is required.

Nice to Have

• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
