Automotive Painter - Remote Position
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Painter to join our team at Truck Collision Services. This Automotive Painter remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a well-respected organization known for its integrity and commitment to excellence. You will play a critical role in delivering award-winning service and value to our customers.
What You'll Do
- Perform preparation work prior to painting, including grinding, sanding, buffing, and masking off areas not to be painted.
- Fill cavities and dents as necessary to achieve the required finish.
- Clean and prepare surfaces using solvents, sandpaper, and wire brushes.
- Select and mix paint to produce the desired color and finish according to specifications.
- Apply paint to prepared surfaces, adjusting sprayer valves and nozzles to regulate width and pressure.
- Maintain cleanliness of the spray booth and ensure a safe work environment.
- Finish surfaces by polishing with sandpaper, compounds, wax, or other materials.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in painting vehicles or equipment.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required; certification from an accredited technical or industrial trade school is preferred.
- Proficiency in budgeting time and being a self-starter.
- Possession of basic hand tools, spray guns, and sanding equipment.

- Experience with show-car level painting techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
