About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Impact and Innovation Research to join Great Minds in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will lead high-impact research initiatives that drive evidence-based improvement and innovation across our educational products and services. This position is ideal for someone passionate about education and committed to enhancing teaching and learning experiences.

What You'll Do

• Lead high-impact research initiatives that align with Great Minds’ mission.
• Guide a comprehensive research agenda focused on educational equity and innovation.
• Collaborate with leaders across various departments to integrate research findings into product development.
• Design and oversee mixed-methods studies to evaluate the effectiveness of curricula.
• Monitor trends in K–12 education to inform research strategies.
• Lead and mentor a team of researchers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Translate research into actionable insights that enhance educational materials.
• Oversee the design and implementation of complex studies and represent Great Minds at national conferences.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in education product research, with a strong focus on K-12 education.
• 3+ years managing research teams, demonstrating leadership and mentorship capabilities.
• Expertise in mixed-methods research design and a strong understanding of curriculum development.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate effectively across departments.
• Commitment to educational equity and improving learning outcomes for all students.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree in education or related discipline preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience in educational policy research.
• Familiarity with data analysis software and tools.
• Previous involvement in national educational initiatives.
