About the Role
We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, and eager Assistant Food Production Supervisor remote to join our team at DO & CO. This role is essential in ensuring our food production department operates smoothly and efficiently, maintaining our high standards of quality and service.
What You'll Do
- Support the day-to-day needs of the food production department as an Assistant Food Production Supervisor remote.
- Deliver necessary communication to ensure food cost goals and on-time delivery of finished products are guaranteed.
- Manage multiple priorities and meet frequent short timeline goals and deadlines.
- Identify problematic areas and suggest solutions to Supervisors / Department Heads and Management.
- Adhere to food safety compliance, HACCP regulations, and FDA regulations while ensuring quality assurance.
- Support the effective leadership and motivation of the food production team.
- Train new hires and ensure all training sessions are recorded.
- Oversee labor hours and production hours, ensuring production flow is optimal.
- Hold the team accountable to daily expectations.
Requirements
- Previous proven leadership experience managing more than 20+ people.
- Strong communication and computer literacy skills.
- Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
- Able to lift up to 50+ pounds.
- Flexible working hours.
