Mandarin Culture and Language Expert - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Mandarin Culture and Language Expert - Remote to join our innovative team at Welocalize. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing AI language models by evaluating and refining Mandarin language outputs. This is a unique opportunity to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to cutting-edge technology that impacts global communication.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, grammar, and cultural relevance.
• Identify issues and provide refined, high-quality rewritten responses.
• Create natural prompts and responses in Mandarin to improve conversational datasets.
• Collaborate with global teams to help improve AI language models.
• Commit to a flexible schedule of approximately 10 to 20 hours per week for a duration of 4 weeks.

Requirements

• Background as a teacher or experience in teaching/writing in Mandarin (preferred but not mandatory).
• Excellent written communication and strong grammatical accuracy in Mandarin.
• Familiarity with cultural nuances in Mandarin.
• Comfortable with structured tasks such as preference ranking, prompt-response writing, and grammaticality checks.

Nice to Have

• Experience in language evaluation or AI training.
• Knowledge of translation and localization processes.
