Asset Recovery Analyst - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Asset Recovery Analyst - Remote to join our team at SpendMend. This position focuses on enhancing patient care through innovative cost-saving solutions and insightful transaction analysis for healthcare clients. As an Asset Recovery Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping clients recover unclaimed funds, ultimately contributing to improved financial performance and patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Research and identify potential unclaimed funds using internal systems and external databases.
• Communicate effectively with clients and state agencies regarding claim status and documentation requirements.
• Prepare and submit claims to appropriate state agencies and other entities.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation throughout the lifecycle of each claim.
• Monitor claim progress and follow up with agencies to ensure timely resolution.
• Track and manage claim opportunities using internal tracking tools.
• Assist with departmental reporting and other administrative or operational processes as needed.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience recovering unclaimed property from government agencies.
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to review and interpret data from multiple sources.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and track projects through completion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally with clients and state agencies.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a remote team environment.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process improvements and efficiencies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience working with databases or case-management systems preferred.
