About the Role
Join Langate as an AI Engineer Intern - Remote, where you will gain hands-on experience working on real AI/ML tasks in a live engineering environment. What You'll Do
- Work on real AI/ML tasks, helping to build and refine ML pipelines.
- Prepare data, run experiments, and evaluate models under the guidance of a mentor.
- Document findings and maintain reproducible code to ensure project continuity.
- Collaborate with team members during regular syncs, 2-3 times per week.
- Implement and improve AI/ML features, contributing to the overall success of the projects.
- Gain practical exposure to applied AI development and the opportunity for a permanent position after the internship.
Requirements
- Strong Python programming skills are required.
- Basic understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and clean code habits.
- Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Familiarity with ML fundamentals: supervised learning, train/val/test splits, metrics, and overfitting.
- Experience with PyTorch is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git, Linux/CLI, and virtual environments.
- Data skills including proficiency in pandas and NumPy for data preprocessing.
