Accountant /​ Financial Controller - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant / Financial Controller to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. As an Accountant / Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing full-cycle accounting processes, ensuring tax compliance, and shaping the financial function of our rapidly growing international SaaS company. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to impactful projects that drive our business forward.

What You'll Do

• Manage full-cycle accounting in Xero for our US operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate and control US tax filings with external CPA, while monitoring international tax obligations including VAT and Sales Tax.
• Prepare management and financial reports in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Drive process improvements and contribute to the overall accounting strategy of the company.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial objectives are met.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or tax roles.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP, with a solid understanding of international tax regulations.
• Hands-on experience with Xero or similar accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2+).
• Based in Cyprus; assistance with BCS work permits is provided.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a SaaS company or similar fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting.
• Additional language skills, particularly Greek.
