What You'll Do

  • Operate a 1.5 MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant, ensuring compliance with all operational requirements.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks unsupervised and respond to process indicators to make necessary adjustments.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair of WWTP equipment proficiently.
  • Develop PM schedules and procedures for all WWTP equipment and processes.
  • Instruct lower-level technicians on troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
  • Demonstrate intermediate skill performance in maintenance functions including electricity, electronics, PLCs/HMIs, plumbing, mechanical work, and welding.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • One (1) year of relevant on-site operating experience at a Class 1 or higher wastewater system.
  • One year of food manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Idaho Wastewater Operator Class I license (WWTP Operator I) or equivalent from another state.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to analyze, read, and write reports, manuals, and procedures.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with computer operating systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to calculate averages.
