This Waste Water Treatment Plant Technician III role offers you the opportunity to operate a 1.5 MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant, ensuring that our processes run smoothly and efficiently. What You'll Do

  • Operate and maintain a waste activated sludge facility with a SBR, Belt Press, Sand Filters, and DAF.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks unsupervised and respond to process indicators to make necessary adjustments.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on WWTP equipment proficiently.
  • Develop PM schedules and procedures for all WWTP equipment and processes.
  • Instruct lower-level technicians on troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
  • Demonstrate skills in electricity, electronics, PLCs/HMIs, plumbing, mechanical systems, and welding.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • One year of relevant on-site operating experience at a Class 1 or higher wastewater system.
  • Food manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Idaho Wastewater Operator Class I license (WWTP Operator I) or equivalent from another state.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to analyze, read, and write reports, manuals, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with computer operating systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
