About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Picker to join our team at New West Distributing. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality beverages. As a Warehouse Picker remote, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products are picked and shipped efficiently.

What You'll Do

  • Follow safety procedures in accordance with New West Safety Standards.
  • Conduct quality checks on all pallets and products pulled by the warehouse pick team.
  • Demonstrate safe forklift procedures and possess forklift knowledge.
  • Replenish products on the pick line using an RF gun as needed.
  • Load and unload pallets of products onto or off trailers, ensuring correct placement.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment through daily inspections of equipment.
  • Occasionally perform tasks beyond shipping, such as picking orders and repacking.
  • Work a schedule from Monday to Thursday, 12 PM to 10:30 PM.

Requirements

  • Ability to handle physical demands, including unloading products and lifting heavy items (up to 165 lbs).
  • Capable of moving products 500 to 2500 times per day.
  • Ability to walk long distances for extended periods.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
