About the Role

We are seeking a UX Design Operations Lead to join our innovative team at Celigo. This remote UX Design Operations Lead position is pivotal in establishing and enhancing the operational foundations that empower our Product Design, User Research, and Content Strategy teams. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our teams deliver high-quality work efficiently and predictably.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and own the UX operational roadmap in collaboration with UX leadership, balancing immediate delivery needs with long-term scalability.
  • Establish and refine team rituals to enhance execution quality and minimize coordination overhead.
  • Lead change management initiatives to foster the adoption of new processes and operational standards across UX and cross-functional teams.
  • Continuously optimize UX planning, intake, prioritization, and delivery processes, supporting quarterly and annual planning efforts.
  • Manage complex, cross-functional UX programs, identifying risks and opportunities for optimization with product management and engineering partners.
  • Oversee the UX toolchain strategy, ensuring reliable access and support for design and research tools.
  • Maintain UX playbooks and resources to enable teams to execute consistently and independently.
  • Define and report on UX operational metrics, synthesizing insights into executive-ready narratives.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in UX, Product Design, Research, or related fields, with at least 3 years in DesignOps or UX Operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and design collaboration tools.
  • Proven ability to build and scale operational systems, including planning cadences and metrics.
  • Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and integration of design, research, and content with engineering.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-influencing skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in an enterprise SaaS or platform-based organization.
  • Familiarity with research operations and participant recruitment models.
  • Background as a UX or Product Designer, User Researcher, or Content Strategist.
