UI/​UX Engineer - Remote Position at Ruby Labs

About the Role

We're hiring a UI/UX Engineer to join our innovative team at Ruby Labs. As a UI/UX Engineer, you'll design and implement scalable, data-heavy interfaces for our high-scale payment orchestration platform. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about creating intuitive user experiences and has a strong background in UI execution and UX principles. You will have the opportunity to shape flows, propose improvements, and elevate the UX quality of a complex fintech system.

What You'll Do

• Develop production-ready UI using Next.js 14 (App Router) and implement admin dashboards.
• Design clear user flows and reduce cognitive load in data-heavy interfaces.
• Build reusable components using shadcn/ui and maintain structured UI patterns across the CRM.
• Write clean, structured TypeScript code and ensure proper data fetching patterns.
• Collaborate with product managers and backend engineers to ensure UI accurately reflects business logic.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience with React / Next.js and strong TypeScript skills.
• Experience building admin dashboards, SaaS tools, or fintech interfaces.
• Strong understanding of UX principles in data-driven systems.
• Experience working with Tailwind CSS and comfortable using component libraries.
• Ability to independently translate requirements into clean UI.

Nice to Have

• Experience in payments, fintech, or subscription systems.
• Familiarity with backend APIs and understanding REST contracts.
• Strong UI / UX skills with an understanding of financial UI patterns.
