Test Lead - Remote Opportunity in Insurance

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Test Lead remote to join our Technology & Transformation team at QBE Europe. This role is pivotal in overseeing the implementation and delivery of application testing, ensuring compliance and effectiveness of processes while managing relationships with outsourced vendors.

What You'll Do

• Create and implement strategic plans across the testing function for the team.
• Oversee the creation and execution of functional and performance test strategies, plans, scenarios, and test cases for various projects.
• Coordinate testing activities, including estimation, planning, team management, and reporting.
• Mentor and coach team members for their professional development.
• Manage stakeholder relationships throughout the testing cycle.
• Document and verify test results, incidents, bugs, and issues in alignment with QBE testing methodology.
• Ensure regression testing packs are continually updated to maintain accuracy.
• Contribute to the delivery of all test artifacts accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with peers in other areas of the department to develop improved strategies for the wider testing function.
• Identify, communicate, and manage risks and issues as they arise.
• Support the transition of testing processes to third-party vendors and manage vendor relationships effectively.

Requirements

• Extensive experience using testing methodologies and tools.
• Some experience leading testing teams.
• A proactive approach and ownership of the function.

Nice to Have

• Experience with tools such as Tosca, Selenium, Postman, LoadRunner, JMeter, Playwright, Python, Jira, PowerBI, Dynatrace, and Sumologic.
