About the Role

We are looking for a Terminology Project Management Intern - Remote to join our international non-profit organization. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience while assisting in terminology processes, especially in maintaining core terminology resources. As a Terminology Project Management Intern, you will have the chance to develop and maintain multilingual glossaries, coordinate glossary maintenance projects, and manage term validation projects using online platforms.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in developing and maintaining multilingual glossaries.
  • Coordinate glossary maintenance projects effectively.
  • Manage term validation projects using online platforms.
  • Engage with reviewers and validators across various languages.
  • Support community capacity in terminology processes.
  • Track project progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized project records and files.
  • Collaborate with the Terminology Working Group to ensure project success.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled or recently graduated in a relevant field.
  • Excellent command of English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Previous experience in translation or terminology is desirable.
  • Strong writing skills in English.
  • Knowledge of CAT tools is a plus.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills.
  • Analytical thinker with attention to detail.
  • Team player and adaptable.
