About the Role
We are looking for a Terminology Project Management Intern - Remote to join our international non-profit organization. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience while assisting in terminology processes, especially in maintaining core terminology resources. As a Terminology Project Management Intern, you will have the chance to develop and maintain multilingual glossaries, coordinate glossary maintenance projects, and manage term validation projects using online platforms.
What You'll Do
- Assist in developing and maintaining multilingual glossaries.
- Coordinate glossary maintenance projects effectively.
- Manage term validation projects using online platforms.
- Engage with reviewers and validators across various languages.
- Support community capacity in terminology processes.
- Track project progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain organized project records and files.
- Collaborate with the Terminology Working Group to ensure project success.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated in a relevant field.
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Previous experience in translation or terminology is desirable.
- Strong writing skills in English.
- Knowledge of CAT tools is a plus.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills.
- Analytical thinker with attention to detail.
- Team player and adaptable.
