About the Role

What You'll Do

  • Prepare federal and multi-state income tax returns.
  • Complete various projects within engagement timelines.
  • Utilize tax preparation software effectively.
  • Perform self-reviews of your work.
  • Conduct tax technical research as assigned.
  • Build relationships with firm professionals.
  • Participate in training and firm activities.
  • Work with a buddy and performance manager for development.

Requirements

  • On track to complete a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting by June 2028.
  • Available to work 30-40+ hours from Mid-January to Mid-April.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 overall and in accounting.
  • Active membership in an accounting organization.
  • Strong technical aptitude and communication skills.
  • Leadership skills with good judgment and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to learn quickly and receptive to feedback.
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • High attention to detail and positive team player attitude.

Nice to Have

  • Previous internship experience in tax or accounting.
  • Familiarity with tax preparation software.
  • Knowledge of current tax regulations.
