About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Station Supervisor to join our team in Naperville. This position offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while assisting the station management team in the overall operation of the inspection station. As a Station Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures, making this a vital position within our organization.
What You'll Do
- Assist the station manager and assistant manager in the overall operation of the inspection station.
- Provide assistance with the remitter program and support manpower needs of the station.
- Perform overt auditing when directed by the station manager or assistant manager.
- Conduct waiver inspections on all applicable vehicles and grant waivers according to IEPA guidelines.
- Travel to other stations as needed to provide staffing support.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the station manager.
Requirements
- Ability to learn and understand the function of selected emissions control devices.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent time management and teambuilding skills.
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and satisfaction.
- Ability to interact professionally with a diverse population in various situations.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Nice to Have
- Experience in automotive services or related fields.
- Knowledge of the Illinois Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program.
