About the Role

We are seeking a Special Projects Manager - Remote to join our innovative team at New Energy Equity. In this role, you will lead and manage special projects that drive our mission in the solar photovoltaic industry. As a Special Projects Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and alignment with our strategic goals.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of special projects within the solar energy sector.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Utilize your technical expertise to guide project teams in implementing effective solutions.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management.
  • Foster a culture of safety and compliance throughout all project phases.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance project outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Leverage tools such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office to streamline project management processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the CleanTech or solar industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with financial management and budget oversight.
  • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and build strong relationships.
  • Familiarity with environmental planning and regulatory frameworks (NEPA, CEQA).
  • Technical expertise in solar photovoltaic systems and related technologies.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a project manager or in a similar role.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in fundraising and business development.
  • Knowledge of healthcare project management.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Environmental Science).
