Software Engineer - Trading Floor (Remote Opportunities)

What You'll Do

• Review and analyze business and technical requirements to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Design, build, and support front-office web applications using a modern tech stack.
• Deliver scalable solutions that meet user needs and deadlines while ensuring high-quality standards.
• Troubleshoot issues, provide efficient fixes, and document solutions for future reference.
• Own application streams with a high level of autonomy, contributing to the overall success of the team.
• Participate in testing to ensure application quality and stability, actively suggesting improvements.
• Lead the modernization of Excel-based tools while supporting existing workflows during the transition.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in object-oriented programming with C# or Python.
• 2+ years working with React or a similar modern frontend framework.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for technology.
• Curious, adaptable, and comfortable learning new domains.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
• Basic finance knowledge or willingness to learn (Repo, Collateral, Triparty).
• Exposure to trading floor environments is a plus.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, event-driven architectures, DDD, or VBA is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and emphasis on code coverage and continuous delivery.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot and internal GPT agents.
