Software Development Engineer in Test - Remote

About the Role

We’re looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) remote to join our team at Fundraise Up. As a global fundraising platform, we make donating to nonprofits fast, seamless, and accessible. Our technology powers millions in donations monthly, and we are recognized for our impact and product quality.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain quality infrastructure and tooling for our engineering organization as a Software Development Engineer in Test remote.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure high-quality code through automated testing frameworks.
• Participate in biweekly engineering forums to share learnings and celebrate achievements.
• Contribute to the development of our backend systems powered by Node.js and MongoDB.
• Work with a modern tech stack including Webpack, Vue.js, React, and TypeScript.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, specifically in a Software Development Engineer in Test remote role.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, and testing frameworks.
• Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Koa, NestJS, and MongoDB.
• Ability to work in a remote environment and communicate effectively with a distributed team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kafka and Redis for messaging and background processing.
• Knowledge of analytics tools like ClickHouse and search technologies like Elasticsearch.
