Social Value Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Social Value Manager remote position to join our dynamic Transport Infrastructure business unit. This role allows for remote or hybrid working, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. You can be based from anywhere in the UK. In this role, you will be the go-to expert and ambassador for social value across our Rail Sector. Reporting to the Head of Social Value, you’ll lead the design, delivery, and measurement of an overall Rail Sector plan with tailored plans for our Rail Accounts that meet and exceed client expectations.

What You'll Do

• Design and deliver overall Rail Sector and Account strategies that align with local needs and contractual commitments.
• Develop, implement, and report performance indicators, targets, and reporting frameworks.
• Collaborate with third-party organizations and charities to achieve social value outcomes.
• Support work-winning efforts with compelling social value proposals and case studies.
• Engage the wider business to support the development of case study material.
• Deliver training and awareness sessions to embed social value across the business unit.
• Represent Amey at industry events and contribute to thought leadership.
• Monitor industry trends and benchmark performance to inform future strategy.

Requirements

• A degree or equivalent experience in social value, sustainability, or a related field.
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in developing and implementing social value strategies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proven track record in delivering impactful social value outcomes.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the transport or infrastructure sector.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social value.
• Familiarity with performance measurement frameworks.
